Memory Station · Celebrations of life

Gather their story
while everyone's together.

A Memory Station is one simple setup at the service where every guest can share what they remember three ways: they upload their photos and videos, record a spoken message, and write a note in a keepsake book. A funeral brings together everyone who loved your person, each carrying their own memories. We make it easy for them to leave those memories behind, and the family keeps all of it.

Starts at

$350

All three, together. Add locally sourced flowers from $100.

What's included

Three things,
one quiet setup.

Three simple things in one place: guests upload their photos and videos, record a spoken message on the phone, and write a note by hand. We set it up and keep it easy, so no memory gets lost in the rush of the day.

  • 01

    Written memory book

A book guests write in by hand. Notes, stories, and signatures, kept as a physical keepsake the family holds onto.

  • 02

    Audio guestbook

The vintage phone. Guests pick up and speak a favorite memory of your person. Every recording comes to the family afterward.

  • 03

    Shared upload drive

A QR code on the table opens one shared drive. Guests upload the photos and videos they have of your loved one, gathered in one place the family owns.

All three included · $350

What to expect

Set up gently,
handled with care.

Nothing about the day should feel like an event production. Here is exactly how the Memory Station runs.

  1. Before · Setup

We arrive about 30 minutes before the service to set up the phone, the memory book, and the upload station quietly, and test that everything is working properly.

  2. During · The service

The setup is self-serve and calm. We do not hover. Guests step over to write, record, or upload a memory whenever they feel ready, and many come back twice.

  3. After · Take-down

We return near the end to take everything down, usually about 10 to 15 minutes, and the family keeps every message, photo, and page.

Add-on · From $100

Locally sourced flowers.

We arrange fresh flowers for the memory table from a Wasatch Front florist, so the station feels like a place set with care rather than a kiosk. Tell us the colors, or the flowers your person loved, and we handle the rest.

Thinking ahead

A photo booth
fits here too.

A celebration of life is often the rare day relatives travel in and everyone is together. A photo booth gives the kids something to do and keeps them entertained, gives cousins a reason to catch up, and sends everyone home with a photo from a day they will be glad they were together.

It is entirely your call, and we keep it soft and off to the side. If it feels right for your family, we can set one up alongside the Memory Station.

Memory Station FAQ

Honest answers,
plainly.

  • 01 What is the Memory Station?

It is our all-in-one way to gather a person's story on the one day everyone who knew them is together. It brings three things into one quiet setup: a written memory book guests sign and write in, an audio guestbook where they pick up a phone and speak a favorite memory, and a QR code that opens a shared drive where everyone uploads their photos and videos of your loved one. The family keeps all of it. It is $350.

  • 02 How does the QR upload drive work?

We place a small card with a QR code on the table. Guests scan it with their phone and upload the photos and videos they already have of your person, straight into one shared drive. Decades of pictures that live scattered across a hundred phones end up in one place, in one afternoon, owned by the family.

  • 03 Is the audio guestbook the same phone you use at weddings?

Yes, the same vintage phone, with a gentle prompt you approve beforehand inviting guests to share a favorite memory. Every recording comes to the family afterward as audio files. On its own the audio guestbook is $250; the Memory Station includes it.

  • 04 Can we add flowers?

Yes. We arrange fresh, locally sourced flowers for the memory table from a Wasatch Front florist, from $100, so the station feels like a place set with care rather than a kiosk. Tell us the colors or the flowers your person loved.

  • 05 Is a photo booth appropriate at a celebration of life?

That is your call, and we follow your lead. Many families add one because a celebration of life is often the rare day relatives travel in and everyone is together. It gives the kids something to do, gives cousins a reason to catch up, and sends everyone home with a photo from a day they will be glad they were together. We keep it soft and off to the side. See our celebrations of life page for how we handle these days.

  • 06 What does the family keep afterward?

Everything. The written memory book, every audio message as a file, and the full shared drive of photos and videos guests uploaded. If you would like, we can also design and print memory books from what was gathered so siblings, parents, and grandchildren each keep a copy.

  • 07 How soon can you set this up?

Quickly. Memorials come together on short notice and we plan for that. Tell us the date and venue and we will confirm fast and keep the conversation simple.
